June 29 through July, public access gallery.

Do you remember Telly from the movie Kids? This is his art gallery.

Organized by Bob nickas, weird guy. Lots of great artists for this show.

cool. And Bob Nickas was one of the main contributors to the "measure of the soul" stoner witch book

Sounds cool. Nickas did another Melvins art show back in the early 00's too. That "Sorry we're Melvins" sign comes from that exhibit. As I recall there is a piece in "Neither Here Nor There" about it.

I love the Sorry, We're Melvins art. That would be a great shirt!

Yeah, always loved that one too. Simple, striking, and totally hilarious! I've always wanted a sign like that (even if I had to bootleg it myself, lol!) But yeah, it would make a swell tee.

Some good pieces there and some atrocious ones. I'll let the viewers decide which is which.

Some more posted little while ago too. Didn't think any were atrocious but some were great. The ones w/ the fishing lures are pretty great ... as are the Stoner Witch shower one and the 70's sleaze "Record Skum" one w/ Aerosmith, Ig, Johansen & Jayne County - that is pretty boss! Also, nice to see that Molly Osborne BSM silkscreen variant ... always been one of my fave's of that series (along w/ Haze's). Pretty sure I see some repeats in there from Nickas' first Melvins art show way back when ... looking at you Sludge Glamorous!

So Ian, what ones are atrocious?

Well, perhaps "atrocious" is slightly overdoing it. They just don't appeal to the aesthetics i approve of. I'm sure others see it differently than myself. All the Mackie ones are cool and super interesting. The main ones i was thinking of as bad are the fish ones with the hook. Plus that embarrassing draw image of the band that is exhibited above those fish artefacts. To me those are the particularly bad ones.
