That's a link, by the way.

Is there any chance you'd make that link active again?

Yeah, I've been real busy at work lately and haven't been able to get on the computer as often as usual; I've still been able to make time to go out to see bands when they're in town, though. Went to see Fantomas last month, as well as Pelican, & going to check out Unsane this Sunday.
It's good to hear your voice(?read your text?) , how've you been?

Vcavallo

i've had email correspondance with the real joe.  i know this for sure because he sent me thrones demos for a future unreleased album.  (this was a while  ago).  he asked me nicely not to share them.
unless someone had gotten them leaked very far in advance and lied to me, then i am pretty sure it was him.  i think he reads this board.  or did.

I believe Conda' was sent some 'unreleased' tracks by the fake Joe Preston, so don't be too sure.

Mesteren

I used to mail a bit with Joe like 4 years ago but at that time he used a hotmail account. He told me about some of his former bands (Snakepit and Mos Isley) and some other stuff. He also used to answer questions on the Kill Rock Stars board. He hasn't answered any of my mails recently, though.
Btw. I got the e-mail address confirmed by Stehpen O'Malley so it should be OK.
To be afraid when you are alone, in the dark, faced with the unknown, the unspeakable; that is understandable fear. To be afraid, mortally afraid, in broad daylight, in a crowded city street, that is to know Melvins.

i'm curious about this different version of night goat. the one on houdini is so awesome it's hard to imagine the other one would be better. the beginning of it is actually so sludgy and gross-sounding that it turned me off from listening beyond the intro for a long time, but especially when the drums kick in the rest of the song is wonderful. interesting song because the riff sort of drives the song as opposed to being the song. but i'd really like to hear that other version.

Dale rules, he locks in and rides shit damn tight - though restrained as needed but all ways, still imaginative.

Feast On Me

Can anyone post it again, the link is now broken and i can't download it thanks a bunch!
