Vinney, not sure I agree with you. I don't mind the faster live versions. When I was standing in the crowd, I wasn't thinking about that at all. I think it was my 7th or 8th Melvins show, and just like every time before, all I could think was "my God, this kicks total fucking ass!"

A band either sounds good live or they don't. The Melvins have yet to let me down. Fast or slow.

Maybe it's having the visuals that go along with the show and a huge stack of speakers blasting in my face, but a faster live version of amazon is still a live version of amazon, and that's better than most things I can think of ever seeing. Or hearing. I don't mind if they switch stuff up a little. It's still Melvins to me. 8)

Seeing this thread again reminds me, I need to frame my damn poster already. And stop procrastinating. Maybe tomorrow. Or next week. :lol:

When you typed it, were you thinking of three aunts, like Elaine's aunts for example, who were discussing my Dan Raymon question? That's how I read it. Not how they said it, but how you were imitating the ladies.
