Floater.  A local band that I haven't been able to get into.  They aren't terrible, just not great either.  She's being introduced to lots of new stuff though, and she's digging most of it.

i converted my wife...she loves stag and asa. and she's been feeding my addiction by surprising me with posters and shit..... i really have the best lady. now  my baby loves it when i put on boolicker....its fuckin sweet

I've seen them once, and once was enough for me. Tons of trim in the crowd, though.  =P~ (Chico, CA - seems like they play here several times a year - College town)

2 things.

1st thing:   floater sounds like something you might label a turd.

2nd thing: my wife hates "devil music"  but my 15 month old daughter digs MELVINS dvd's  from her uncle hanzy.

My girlfriend digs the Melvins. She has been to two shows too (one show about a year and a half back at Slim's when they played all of Houdini with Trevor Dunn, the other at the beginning of the NWB tour at Slim's) and would be going to the upcoming Thanksgiving Eve show at Cane's if she didn't need to go back to the Bay for the holiday. Though she isn't a fan of the heaviest stuff. Like after her first show her favorite Melvin's song became "Goin' Blind" and it stuck but she likes a lot of the other ones too. I explained that it's a cover and we listened to the Kiss version and she thinks the Melvin's play it waay better and that the original version is kinda weak. She's bummed that she will be missing the show.  :(

Ugh..be careful what you wish for.  I knew a girl who loved to watch porn.  Who sits through an hour and a half of porn at one sitting?  It's not like there's going to be a surprise plot twist.
