If the Melvins were ever to cover the Grateful Dead and put out an odd single of it, that has to be the cover art!

get ready to get beat up for being a MELVINS fan.       that kind of seems like his go-to move when referencing MELVINS fans.  we're annoying complainers that ask stupid questions and go out of our way to irritate the merch slinger.

OK, but this is seriously hilarious. I haven't seen walsby on tour with those guys in a long, long time. Not sure if they had a falling out or what. I've never felt like I bothered the guy, but he's just overall not at all very friendly.

But to be fair sometimes I still feel like this when I'm waiting to say hello to Buzz and Dale.

He's always been pleasant to be around and talk to.  I got to sit next to him during the screening of the Melvins documentary in Minneapolis (with Lori from Babes in Toyland sitting right in front of us).  I knew a person that he had known forever, and I'm pretty sure they were in a band together way back when (RIP Tom Hailey!). One of the 3 times I flew to Minneapolis for Melvins, I got a picture of me and Walsby and texted it to Tom and said Brian says hi!  Tom responded, "oh, it takes a guy from Portland to fly to Minneapolis to tell me a guy who lives in the same city as me says hi?".

Walsby is a really nice guy, I've met him a few times at shows and he's made time to chat with me a little bit.

I'm a fan of his work, sure. He's hilarious.

Blocking people on facebook? I mean...Are people still on facebook anyway?

If I was still on facebook I'd block myself.

Last time I met him he was sorting some merch in the back of the Van, sure he can be crabby but he's 'not here to be polite' as Robert Crumb would put it as a cartoonist.

I waited in the 2 mile long merch line, and finally got up to Brian and said 'I don't know what I want, but sell me something please!'

He dug out his Davidians record and said here, buy this!

And it's great, he didn't plug himself as the drummer, but I was really impressed man he's a kick ass drummer for sure.

Check out his work. I asked him about some of his older bands like snake nation and Shiny beast...he said that stuff is on youtube.

Check it out.

That said, that is a really funny post, considering some of his Melvins tour posters You'd have thought he'd get a kick out of it for sure.
