The Dirtbombs covered "Spread Eagle Beagle" last night

 at the end of the last song Ben Blackwell moved his drum kit into the middle of the audience and finished the song, then  continued on with "Spread Eagle Beagle".

I talked to Ben after the show and told him how cool I thought that was and he was PUMPED. He said "I was thinking to myself, What would Dale do?"

Cool. The Dirtbombs will be playing as well at ATP in two weeks from now.

yeah,   dirtbombs do a great live show,  that drummer, ben, does a great vocal to Iggy Pop's "dirt"  which is what they ended with the 2nd last time I caught them.  he acted out the whole onstage iggy thing as well - a lot of fun.
If I remember correctly, he's jack white's nephew.
