I think i have. I just called Moshtix and they were actually really nice and helpful. They said they'd re send my confirmation email but i don't really need it. They also said i just have to get the credit card authorisation form filled out and take it on the night and all will be good. Such a relief, i was really quite stressed about it all.

So yeah, i will definately be there for the late show (unless something else goes wrong). I considered going to the early show too but it's going to be the same set and it will be my first day back at work for the year so i mightn't make it in time so decided not too.

I thought the early show would be difficult for alot of people to get to, which I'm guessing is why it didn't sell out as quickly as the 'first' show did.

Too bad BloodDuster aren't doing the support at the later show...

Looks like I'm not gonna make it to the early show...    too much of a hassle sorting things with work, changing flights and of course spending another $120 for flight changes and ticket to the show...
I guess I would have put the effort if they'd play a different setlist but considering I'm gonna see them in Sydney 5 days prior to Melbourne I think I can live with seeing them only once in Melbourne.

Typical bloody New Zealand, never capitalising on great live music opportunities.

Although that said, Brant Bjork and the Bros are going to be playing Dunedin in like a month, and the Dirtbombs have played Dunedin as well, so why the fuck couldn't we get the Melvins down here??

hmm, i'm very tempted to go. I probally would've chosen that show over the later one if i was confidant i'd make it in time.

well, i'd be more than happy if there was a really small crowd at the early show- but i'm sure people will buy tix on the night if they are still available then, and it won't end up being that many less than the sold out show.

even if they do end up playing identical sets, they'll be different in ways- either by having a better spot to see/hear from, better mix for one show or the other, less staggering drunks around you, etc. plus those tiny 'performance' differences that make me so happy to see them as many times as I possibly can.

i feel like a little kid waiting for christmas to come!!! 
will be awesome to see fantomas on the 25th and then the melvins twice on the 27th!

...what better way to 'celebrate' this grand country of ours going to shit by the minute!!!
