Melvins on "Sound FX" tv show
« on: February 10, 2009, 10:41:17 AM »
Hey,
Speaking of the Melvins on basic cable, did anyone see their live interview / performance on "Sound FX" on the FX channel in 1994? They were doing promo for Stoner Witch, and one of the hosts was Jeff Probst, the dork from SURVIVOR.

They played "Goose Freight Train" and the co-hosts bobbed their heads to the beat in a serious fashion.

That version of Goose Freight Train is baller. I love Mr. D's playing on that. Plus he's just got the nicest clean tone. Love it.

I love the hipster crowd, dancing like they're watching Prince, or something.
I'm glad you cleared that up, I watched this last summer and totally thought
it was Roger Lodge from Blind Date.
