I guess I understand where he's coming from, at least he cares about me... but like what was said, I am an adult and the overprotectiveness is just getting old. I'm pretty irritated with him. But either way I'm going to be at that show.

Yeah actually my dad wants to come with me to NYC.   Not to the show of course (he is not a glen or fart lips type of dad   )but he will go do something else instead. I'm kind of thinking as long as I get to see the show, I don't mind too much.

It's one of those things I won't understand til I get preggers I guess.   And I'm hoping that won't happen for at least three more years.

I'm 35 and I still don't mind going places with my folks.  becuase they still pay most of the time!
