buzz played the riff that 1.52 starts at in rotterdam last year when they did some sort of improv set with keiji haino (cameron jamie stuff)

(lovely riff to play)

his rapping in the beginning of the song has the flow of lovely butterfly and let it all be combined.

here's the picture:

haino outnoises the melvins, doesnt seem to pay much attention to the melvins
dale & coady playing some rhythm
jared seems clueless
buzz doesnt seem comfortable, decides at some point to play that nice sweet riff, among other stuff btw

when buzz said in some interview the melvins are more accidentalists rather than improvizing, i knew what he meant, with the image in mind of them with keijo haino. it all ended in lysol, that was cool.

upon further reflection...

if I had to pick a fav track you all know HAG ME would be high on the list.

I've seen MELVINS somewheres in the 15 times range.  I have never once heard them play HAG ME live.

that being said..

be dears and play HAG ME for ol' glenster, would ya?   make an old man's wishes come true.

at the stake
probably my favorite melvins song and maybe favorite song ever. that or echoes from pink floyd are neck and neck

Like Stee

So glad I got to see Hag Me w/ Dunn in May.  At The Stake would be epic.  Echoes is great.  There's a great version of that on Gilmour's Live in Gdansk album, w/ Rick Wright before he died.  The solo rivals the original recording.

DC

At the stake -(drums to tune down)- hag me-more drums to tune down lower-boris-drums to tune up-easy as it was-drums intro and tune up-YOUTH OF AMERICAAAA

Leroy

Bar - X The Rocking M (with Toshi on stage doing weird noises in place of the trumpet noise)
Berthas (extended version with wacky showoffy double drumming sections)
Smiling Cobra
Rickets (love that song, very underrated)
Anaconda
Mombius Hibachi
Lone Rose Holding Now
Goin Blind

And Buzz telling some jokes on stage

Bitches of Copacabana

Glad to see all the love for "Rickets."  I love rickets, can't get enough of 'em.  Soft, deformed bones... so sexy...

Yeah Prick was actually a pretty good cd!  Maybe some day they'll re-release it with some bonus tracks, since it is out of print
