They did "I Want To Hold Your Hand" by the Beatles in London a few years back.

It'd be great if they released an album full of covers actually.

Butcher Town [The Ronsons]
You'll Be Taken Care Of [The Ronsons]

has anyone ever been able to track down these original versions?

i remember i searched for it once but could never find anything, not even about the band, so i started to think they made up this band to fuck with our heads.

Quite possibly. No luck here either.

I will upload this homemade collection if anyone wants it (and no-one minds me hosting it).
