Anyone know who is opening the Buffalo Town Ballroom show? My tix say Melvins with Special Guest. I know Weedeater are in Syracuse that night and Evil Army and Big Business dont have that date listed on their myspace pages. Have their been openers at the other headline shows? I dont remember reading of any in the reviews section. Just curious. Really looking forward to this show, last time they played the TB was one of my favorite shows ever. Hey, first post!

great, my first post and I use the wrong "their".  You guys must think I'm a Down fan or something.

from what others on here that saw them headline said, Melvins have been playing two sets. I missed Weedeater the other night and Evil Army was not allowed to play because of their name. I swear that shit is true
What would a woman that fine want in a big, fat, nasty, greasy, fat, stank, bloated, cheesy-backed, 12-sandwich-eatin' bastard?

Turn around mister, and never trust a girl giving her donuts away for free.

You can't just leave it at that!  Do you know any more besides that?

nice. I have absolutely no problem w/ them doing two sets with no opener. Would be nice to see the Buzz/Dale thing again like they did at Webster Hall in may.

It better be the Melvins opening for themselves - as in two sets. I hope no local bands are on this show, and that the sound is better than last year.

Odd that this show isn't listed at Ipecac's calendar, or the venue's site.  It's definitely happening though.

I noticed that too. Neither is the Pittsburg show the next night, they're both on their myspace page tho. Thursday in the square isn't happening that night either, isn't that early for that to be done? I remember seeing Dropkick Murphys in late sept one year.

TATS ended in August this year. There were a few less shows since they moved a few of them to the waterfront on the weekends for $10. Saw MMW there. I think I like that location better.
At the Square this year I saw Zappa Plays Zappa in July which was great again, and George Clinton/P-Funk which was cool too, but that was the most people I've ever seen down there. Ridiculous. Couldn't get anywhere near the stage.
