So, what can I say? Tracks #1, 5, 7, 9, 13 are good.

13.   overgoat.  its a beautiful thing.

you should consider adding track 11 to that list as well molo.  :D

totally off topic, but I just saw a sperm swim across the screen underneath molotov's post.  :-s :-s
What would a woman that fine want in a big, fat, nasty, greasy, fat, stank, bloated, cheesy-backed, 12-sandwich-eatin' bastard?

Turn around mister, and never trust a girl giving her donuts away for free.

Calling local record stores. No luck yet.  So ashamed of the "home of the blues"

I really like it but I don't think it's going to appeal to anyone that doesn't already like noise music. There's some tracks that stand out more than others but I think it works best to just listen to the album in one sitting, since it's really a gigantic sound collage.
listened to this yesterday for the first time and i agree with you.i noticed also it's not always an album for every remixer.for example Void Manes' OverGoat includes parts of Houdini/Prick/Hat/Ozma/Stag
Charmicarmicat:Bastards

Just checked MELVINS.COM - there's a free "bonus" remix up there by someone called HIRO NOODLES.

it's pretty good
for real?  even though it's on the official website, it could be a trap.  i would think you could trust the official site however.  just made my purchase last night along with mind the drift and manchild 4. yea!!!!  not  a dirty downloader!

EGO the Living Planet

I like it quite a bit. This is definitely going to be in the "separate the men from the boys" category with  Prick and Colossus of Destiny.

I do have to say that I'm finding it hard to listen to all the way through. I like all of it, but it tends to make me want to break out the original albums when I recognize the sources (that's pretty much what hapens with remixes in general though).

EGO the Living Planet

Anyone want to try to come up with a list of what was the source material for what tracks?  I know a few, but there's enough stuff coming from enough directions and some of the pieces are small enough that it's harder than I assumed it would be.

Anyone know where i can hear the fake leak? It sounds funny.

i'll try with the albums source.i'm not 100% sure though:

1 Yamatsuka Eye remixed material from HAT
2 Christoph Heemann remixed material from Honky
3 V/Vm remixed material from 26 songs (?)
4 John Duncan,material from Lysol
5 Matmos maybe used the bass line from Eye Flys (?)
6 Lee Ranaldo,material from Eggnog
7  Merzbow, guess the drum pattern is taken from Stag (Googgles?)
8 David Scott Stone used a vocal sampler from Prick (Roll another one?)
9 Panacea remixed Queen
10 Sunroof,impossible to say
11 in the Kawabata Makoto remix i can hear Dale's pattern from Ligature
12 Farmersmanual remix includes parts of GPT
13 Void Manes remixed various material from the albums Houdini/Prick/HAT/Stag/Ozma
14 RLW remixed stuff from GPT
15 $peedranch remixed parts of Ozma (Oven)

any suggestion would be  much appreciated!

I have no idea on that, I will have to listen to the album again.

In track 6, there are vocals from lysol and bullhead.

I believe the artists were given free range of ipecac and not just 1 album per mixer.

Captain CoryCory

Kinda like the Hiro Noodles track, which uses Black Stooges, Charmicarmicat, Cow, the first song off the Buzzo EP, and I think something else too.
