I have no fucking clue but, I turned on the tube to Comedy Central that film Employee of the Month was on so I left it there just to have something to watch while I surfed the web. There was a scene where that Mexican guy from Napoleon Dynamite and the asshole guy in the movie are in Dane Cook's house and sure enough there is a poster on the wall right there in plain view a Melvins and Trevor Dunn's Trio Convulsant poster on the wall.

Dane Cook fucking sucks by the way the movie sucked.

I heard Howard Stern interview Dane Cook last week and he actually seemed like a decent guy.  He was kinda funny at times in the interview but I've never heard his stand up routine so I don't know how skilled he is.  I've heard plenty of comedians rag on him but you know they can be a bitter sort.  I was pretty impressed with his story of how he built himself up.

You mean by ripping off other comedian's material?

No, I wouldn't know that.  Like I said I've never heard his routine.  I was referring to his story he told about marketing himself on the internet.  It wasn't really that great of a story but he appeared to demonstrate perseverence.

But that accusation gets thrown around the world of comedy by everyone in every direction.  I've heard so many stories of many comedians ripping each other off.  I think so many of them are fucked up in so many ways they forget which jokes are theirs or not.  I wouldn't doubt it if he did but I think that's so difficult to really prove anyway.

There were multiple name drops of Melvins and Sonic Youth in last year's shitty feel good movie Juno.

I like it when buzz is interviewed and is asked about the name drops in movies. His replie is that its kinda cool, but it does'nt give him anything to take to safeway and trade for food!

I guess you could say he does 'covers' of other people's material.

The first and third examples are pretty weak but that second one might have a case.  I'm sure you could spend all day finding examples like that from many comedians.

You fuck with Louie CK's material and you fuck with God.

I relate to that asshole itching story.  I like cutting farts that massage the roids.
