The Melvins played the Ballad of Dwight Fry then It's Shoved, not Zodiac. The guy seems to have some cred though, look at this:

If that was anyone's first Melvins show, they definitely lucked out..

yea i brought a friend of mine for her first Melvins show, and she fuckin loved it, now she realizes why i'm always talking about them.

She sounds like a keeper.

I brought my girlfriend's mom to this show. She dug Dale and Coady and thought the bassist had a really cool bass sound. She was very critical of the Melvins because she recognized how well they perform. Of all the music she heard from the Melvins some of it didn't impress her. She thought some of the songs were lacking. Kind of like she wanted more melody but still hard and heavy and that some of the melodies are too short that when she gets to like the melody and start singing to it, or headbanging to it or something to it and then it ends and doesn't come back. Does that make sense? Like I said she is very critical. She really dug a few of the duo songs and most of the songs in the second set. I think she wanted more out of songs like "Let God Be Your Gardener"and "Anaconda". Overall it was an excellent show but for a newbie I can always understand some misunderstanding.
