Chicken Switch!  Yes, Chicken Switch.

7.8 Chicken Switch

7.3 Never Breathe What You Can't See
7.3 A Senile Animal
7.0 Nude With Boots
6.7 The Crybaby
5.7 Houdini Live
5.6 Hostile Ambient Takeover
5.3 Mangled Demos from 1983
4.9 Millennium Monsterwork

I'm not angry, just fascinated.

Those dorks don't know anything about music.

If they did, they would know that HAT is the pinnacle of modern rock music.

It didn't even make the top 5. You gotta be kidding me.

We all know that H.A.T. is a mediocre album that the fans try to forget about.  Also, I'm glad Kevin is gone.  His dance was stupid.

Should Millenium Monsterwork even be on that list since it mostly Mike Patton's vocals?

The list is a trolljob.

That said, Houdini Live is one of their most underrated of the last 10 years.

No.  It's not a Melvins album.

In no way is it a Melvins album.  It's an idea.

It's something that if we had a band and many decent/moderate musicians wanted to remix it, we'd say yes.

But it's NOT an original Melvins release, therefore it has no business on this list.

Millenium should not be on the list either.

By the way, where is the link to this 'list'?

Maybe a vote amongst us needs to be taken.

Well, there is no "list".  I took all the scores of every Melvins album they reviewed in the past decade (ie every Melvins album they have reviewed) and noticed that Chicken Switch had the highest score.  My guess is it got a high score because you haven't heard of the remixers.

Is it a Melvins album?  I'd say yes.  It was their idea to remix entire albums, they choose the people who remixed it, and they gave the green light to release it.  It's even on Ipecac and was promoted by them.  Compare that to the tribute album which the Melvins had nothing to do with.

Like Stee

My guess would be that Chickenswitch got such a high score because Bitchdork was trying to kiss the ass of all the remixers...  Still, HAT with such a low score is a bit confusing.  I can't say I'm surprised though from that mediocre website.

So what you're really trying to say is that their "highest" "rated" "album" is "actually" ASA..

This only proves that the only opinion that matters when it comes to music is one's own.  To call Chicken Switch their best record is to say Turbo is Judas Priests' best record.
Oh Yeah!  I forgot to take my pills.....
