It should have been a european tour without Isis, or at least Melvins headlining.

Wait, what ?... You think Isis is and Melvins aren't headlining the summer tour? ....that's not how I read it.

Jun 16 9:30 Club (w/ Isis) - Washington, Washington DC

I don't think they'll be at the Seattle show.  I couldn't care less.

I'd give an arm and leg to see any tour of the Melvins regardless of what shitty band they're with.

Okay maybe more like $20-30. Id' rather keep the limbs.

Yeah, but only if I'm time travelling to 2002 when they last toured together.
I really like the last two Melvins albums, and Isis is still decent, but Oceanic & H.A.T. are better than what both bands are doing today. Sorry, had to say it.

I really hope there's an upstate NY date added on 6/22. I don't care to see them with Isis, because Isis will probably get equal time meaning less Melvins. Who's playing first? That's just wrong if Melvins play before Isis.

To some extent I thought the same thing.  Both bands put out their best album in 2002.  Although that's when I think Isis peaked, I saw them last year and still think that they are great live, even the new stuff.  As for the Melvins, I still love what they've been doing and would probably say that (a)sa and potre are two of their best.

Also, just to check: everyone here is in agreement that hat's their best album?

Not everyone, but the majority.

Yeah, not everyone......how is H.A.T. the Melvins best album? Don't get me wrong,
it's a great album, but The Maggot and P.O.T.R.E.,all things considered, IMO, are
stronger albums.

You answered it yourself.  Opinions.

HAT is no where close to being the best Melvins album.

Yeah I liked the Melvins before HAT, but when that junk came out, I was really taken aback.  The intro songs, judas chongo,... it just works.

That said, I REALLY enjoy A Senile Animal.
