I  read the review in the actual magazine. I think it was a paragraph longer. I might be wrong about that.

Either way, they did NOT listen to the album.

Indeed he does not.  Anyone who saw the 25th anniversary shows was reminded how much MORE punishing Dale is on his own.  The power of his drumming is weakened by the dual drumming.

I agree. With Coady it seems a bit more locked down whereas on his own he'll go off, adding all manner of crazy flourishes with that pounding style we all know and love. Mind the Dale/Coady partnership still kicks ass.
