So, I was just browsing this site:   http://www.archive.org/download/http://www.archive.org/details/etree

And I was thinking that it would be a nice place to host/preserve various live Melvins material.  It's free, so that's nice.  The only restriction being that it should be live material by a "trade friendly" band.  I always got the impression that the Melvins were such a band, so long as the show hasn't been commercially released.  Unfortunately I don't have any lossless material to upload.  But surely, if anyone does it would be somebody here.

yea there's also a bunch of great Hank III shows on there too.  cool site.
slow and low, that is the tempo

I think you have to get explicit written permission from the band first to send to the archive before they will allow it.  For instance, Phish is a trade friendly band but they do not allow their stuff on the archive.

Well, that's a little lame but fair I guess.  Still, if anyone will manage it, I'm sure somebody around here could.

Not to mention over a hundred Ween bootlegs!

Seriously, someone should ask Buzz or Dale about this.
