Has anyone ordered one of these lately? Mine still hasn't arrived after many weeks and the communication from ATP as to its whereabouts is a little sketchy. I live in hope, though.

I haven't gotten mine, either. What year are you supposed to select your date from? This year, or the year the dolbee was released to commemorate?
Well, we'll always have "In the Air Tonight." Will that be your most enduring song?
You know, that song won't lie down. It just won't go away. I mean, there's a Mike Tyson moment associated with it now. It's just bizarre. I guess it has a bit of mystery, a lot of atmosphere, and the drums coming in, pinning people to the wall.

I haven't got a clue about this year thing. I never understood what that was all about. I chose 1963; if I ever order another of these I'll choose a date in the future and see what happens. Well, after badgering ATP for a bit I finally got a vague reply about the mail order guy being on holiday and blah blah. At least if you paid through PayPal you'll get your money back if it doesn't show. I'll give it another week. Keep in touch.

Email Jamie.

This was the reply I received last Wednesday.

"Sorry for the delay on this, the person who handles our merch is off work
for a few days but I will get back to you as soon as possible to find out
if it's been dispatched."

I smell a slacker!!!! :x
Totally. Once in a while you'll give your money to someone and hear nothing. At least inform us if something's gonna be delayed. Communicating has never been easier. It happened with Limited Appeal, too. Trying to get a reply and then a refund out of the guy for goods that hadn't shown up was a nightmare. "I've been busy at work" was all he kept saying. Bah!

Greasy Statement

Good news: Just received this email:

"My name is Jim and I work for ATP. Firstly can I apologise for the unacceptable delay in dispatching your Dolbee figure, we have been having some internal issues with our store console which has lead to a backlog of orders which are now being sent out post haste. Subsequently, I unfortunately was forced to take time off due to ill health which has lead to further delay.

Your figure will be sent out today and I will try my upmost to get it sent to you via the quickest means possible. Once again, please accept our apologies for the delay and inconvenience caused.

Warm regards"

"My name is Jim and I work for ATP. Firstly can I apologise for the unacceptable delay in dispatching your Dolbee figure, we have been having some internal issues slacking away as we do which has led to a backlog of orders which are now being sent out post haste. Im a fellow Melvins board member and i've duly noticed the recent surge of hatred and countless threats of violence should said figure not arrive for those who purchased from us. Henceforth your figure will be promptly dispatched.

Warm regards"
Perhaps it should have read like this.  ^^^
