I love the current line up, they are amazing live.  I also really like the stripped down "Melvins Lite" two piece playing the oldies. Kick ass amazing. You can really appreciate Buzz and Dale's talent with nothing else going on.

Like I said, I like the Biz.  I have heard and absolutely LOVE the new one.   I've seen every tour with J & C and in many cases more than one show.   Maybe I'm crazy.  I just miss the trio.  Despite what you say, there is a big difference, for better or for worse.

I feel ya. I miss each and every lineup actually. I wish that they could all exist. Lukin, Lorax, Mark D, RottenAss Joker, Big Biz - ALL GREAT!

Why does it have to be JUST Dale tho? Sooooo much better if it was called 'The Crovers' and featured Maureen, Scarlett and Cassius too? Or perhaps it could be called 'The Four Leaf Crovers' since there's four of them!  Could even make a feature film update of Uncle Buck entitled Uncle Buzz with our very own King Buzzo in the John Candy role. How about it then?

I think the Big Melvins albums got progressively worse. I was quite disappointed by TBSM... I hope they'll step out of their current comfort zone for their next album.
