I don't remember you having a problem selling as many of the "The End" LP's for as much as you could get when you were, and probably still are, sitting on multiple copies. I'm selling one record....you gig people over and over with the same LP, which I actually don't have a problem with.I don't have a problem w/ pinky selling as many copies as she can either. If the melvins had some kind of problem with it, they wouldn't sell multiple copies to one person at the merch table. Don't be a whiny baby...or do you think you're are the only one who should be allowed to make a profit on a Melvins LP ?..and don't give us that bullshit that you don't have anything to do with "the end" your just moving them for a "friend", Riiiight, like you're not getting anything out of it. Like I said before, I don't care who sells what to who so why do you ? Anyway, I know your next post will be " well, someone is feeling guilty" or "guess i struck a nerve". Well, guilty ?...No. Struck a nerve ?...maybe, but only because you're a hypocrite..."reality is a bitch". Still love you Glen, you got any "The End" LPs for sale ? ....how much are they ?  :D

On a side note, I've been trying not to go off on muthafukas on this board because it really serves no purpose and I have enough negative crap in my life , but I will call out bullshit when I smell it...and Glen, you are ripe with funky bullshit.....bro.

glen

all I know is I've heard from more than one MELVINS officianado who wanted this album for their personal collection and were unable to purchase it becuase people snatched up 5 and 6 at a time and then tried to turn around sell them for a ridiculously inflated price.

so you may cry BULLSHIT all you want.    but I swear to you on my MELVINS fandom that I did not recieve a single nickel for THE END LP's.   I was only helping a good friend who does not want to have an identity on this board.

I just think it stinks to high heaven when something is released basically exclusively for collectors and it turns into EXPLOITATION MANIA.

you tell me how I exploited, or even attempted to exploit anyone or anything.

all that being said:  you own the object.  you have the right to sell (or attempt to sell) it for any price you feel is fitting.  so good luck.
*that last statement is eerily similar to conversations I had with THE END printer. HE owned them. HE set the price.  yet somehow I was a no-good-bastard for it*

All I'm going to say is that I find it unfortunate the Melvins aren't on top of this shit. It sucks that those interested in these collectibles get fucked over because the Melvins hit their town towards the end of the tour.

I don't understand the reasoning behind not limiting collectibles to one per person if only to sell the remainders off ebay after the tour at a higher price.

I'm not hating on JZS or Pinky (on this anyway). I think it's safe to assume there's a great deal of us who would pull the same shit if we could/felt the need to.

Also, Glen is probably the most honest person on this board. That's the impression I get, anyway.

It could be worse, though. The last two times I saw the Melvins in Canada there was no merch table. I totally understand the reasoning behind refusing to pay the tax on their merch but it still sucked. :(

Chomas

not for nothing, Glen didn't mark up the End LPs 1000%

LebRon Maiden

The Melvins are on top of it.  They know limited records sell better.  The albums ARE limited to one each.  The only time you saw multiple copies for sale was when they were bought at the actual shows.

JZS is cool, Glen is cool, let us hug it out my little bitches.

id trade you a b.s.m vinyl if i could get one!! hahaha
I got the shits real bad.

>>>JZS<<<

There will be six more Bride LP designs available on the AmRep site at $50 plus shipping....600 copies left !
If you pay attention, you won't pay more than that.  The Melvins after-market will only get crazier, so people need to stop
being upset that they can't get one after not doing anything or doing any homework to secure one.

Peace & Love,
                       J.Z.S.  :D

p.s. you're gonna fuck up your cover and the print if you try to remove the print.

glen

JZS is indeed cool.   a true MELVINS fan.

no hate at all.   I'm just being residually miffed for my friends who tried to get one and were unable so are now expected to pay stupid prices.

600 still haven't been released.  Your friends should be able to get at least one.

Are you stoopid or is it because you are from Canada?
Maybe you can become the merchandise police guy and patrol your ONE item only policy.
