I think jared and coady will invent a new flavor of pudding that will not only taste delicious but it will cure aids.  capitalizing on this new pudding they quit the band with millions of dollars in their pockets just before the 7 year mark.

Nothing against the BB boys, but I'm all for Melvins switching bassists regularly.

....and will it be broken again by fan-favorite, Steven Shane McDonald?   :-k :buzz:

Signs point to yes

))))((((

I think it already has!

Kevin '98-'05 (7 years)
Steve '16-'23 (7 years)

But really Jared kinda holds the record anyway...

'06-'15 (9 years not counting the Melvins Lite absence)

Funny to think that if we start with Mark, each bassist was in the band longer than the last. I guess that means Steven will be around for quite some time yet!

Give Kevin another shot at the title!
+1

I highly doubt Buzz would put his eggs in that basket. I would love some shows with Kevin on bass though - miss him!
