No I would not pay double, nor would I pay $50.00 for that matter.

It's easily worth it!! Four discs of some of the best Melvins stuff released in a long time. PLUS hand made artwork.. Hand assembled by Buzz.. It only works out to $12.50 a disc.. and it's limited to 50 per city. I think it's a bargin.

Mad Arab

I have the studio versions of them all. I'll wait for a new album.

That's crazy. I'd happily pay double.

That's a very interesting answer.  I wonder if there's a Grateful Dead fan somewhere who only buys their studio albums....

I agree, it is a bargain. Especially because they are limited to 50 per city.

Who cares? Let the Dead worry about their own Dead fans.

For me I'd feel wrong buying one and me NOT have been at the show. I live in GA. So, unless they did one here I wouldn't buy it. I'd listen to it though.

No, I would not pay double or quadruple for this.

I don't think this is essential material for every Melvins fan - only those rabid ones who have not taken their shots. I've listened it through a few times and it's ok, nothing mind blowing. I guess you must have been there - as the cover says. I wish I could've been.

Of course I listened it through the internet downloads, but those will have to go to dumpster, as I'm not buying this. There are hundreds of better records that I'll rather allocate the ipod space to.

You should re listen to these recordings...

Some of their best albums.. Performed by a band that is better live than any other band out there right now!

I think it is a LOT better than just "OK".. And I don't think you have to be a rabid fan to appreciate it

Agreed. CD's are about as cool as a floppy disc. A fancy way to store data.
