No I meant semantics! As in, what is the meaning of  "best" when applied to current and former bass players.
What does "best" denote? How can we quantify "best" when they've all brought something unique to the table.

As much as I like the Mark D years. The albums with Kevin overall are creatively the best so far in my opinion. The Bootlicker is an underrated masterpiece in the Melvins catalog. Pigs of the Roman Empire ranks up there too.
