I think the design is too Hello Kitty/ Spencer's Gifts for the music on the vinyl. Overly simplistic, even if it is silk screened and hand assembled. Bottom line: there is much higher quality output from other operations to warrant a FRACTION of the cost of these things.

Reminds me of the 90's when all of those x-men comics came out as buyer incentives with the die cut covers and holograms glued to the front. Only those cost $4.99. And were more massively produced.

Gluey, Ozma, Bullhead, Eggnog - all showing a tendency to simplistic artwork that betrays nothing of what lies inside the sleeve. Genius. Wolves in sheep's clothing.

And 130 Euros for eight LPs in a dustbin bag is still value for money.

The X-Men comics were $4.99 because they were massively produced, I guess.

Simplistic ?....Hello Kitty ?....X-men ?   [-(

I have to agree ... I mean all props, kudos, and dutchie passin' (to the right) to Crybaby and RIH 'cause they did it and did it so well (they always do) ... and I guess in terms of continuity it makes sense; as the CD issue has the same art ... but yeah, not too big on the arts for this one ... now that 8xLP Test Pressing? Whole different story ... Completely Fucking Badass ... perhaps my favorite graphics on a release since Melvins embarked down the DIY road. I'm not a huge fan of the whole "cute and cuddly and deadly" thing ... ya know the whole Happy Tree Friends, Tara MacPhearson, most of Makie's stuff ... man that shit is so overdone and so late nineties ... it was kinda cool then ... but not really.
It was a big night out on the town for the Id and the Reptile Brain ...

RIH version ... that is the one with the "weapons" covers ... simple black on manila right?

Goddamn, right up there w/ HAT, Eggnog and the Real Fucking Nasty 2x7" as the best Melvins covers ever.

Though, after seeing what one of those dropped for on ebay I doubt I could ever afford a set ... shame 'cause they would look just smashing framed up in my living room!

I concur.

The weapons theme is real clean. 8)

Alex-

My black vinyl version has arrived this morning, it's absolutely beautiful (and so worth your money). Thanks to Crybaby and RIH, who did an amazing job on this, couldn't get much better.. Here are some pictures to excite the ones that didn't got their copy yet:
