I'll buy you a drink. Looks like the Big Business Wild Kingdom tour is the same nite unless I got my dates mixed up, or one of the schedules is wrong. I noticed a few shows coinciding with both tours. If this is old news I missed it. If it's new news check it out ya'll both bands on the same nite!

Sept 6 Showbox at the Market in Seattle
Sept 7 Hawthorne Theater in Portland
Sept 8 Neurolux in Boise
Sept 15 Waiting Room in Omaha

What's that? Not me. Fuck that, I'm a cat.

The MFNW Portland (OR) site says that Melvins Lite/Big Business tickets will be $18 on the door on the night (doors open 7pm) or alternatively with a festival wristband ($75).

Yeah, the whole wristband thing is a bunch of garbage.  What ends up happening is you get the wristband for $75 and then wait outside the venue while they let the people buying tickets the night of the show enter until they decide there is room for the folks with wristbands.  I bought the wristband the first year and decided to never do so again.

I didn't know that.  You'd think it would work the other way around.  I'd be pissed if I had a wristband and didn't get into a show.

another thing is that its a lot cheaper to grab a ticket at the door last minute than order an advance one or try your scalping luck.  :(

Tweak Bird just posted 46 new concerts...

Looks like they'll be the opener on most of the dates.
Has this already been discussed?
The one and only....

These three posters are going on the upcoming Melvins Lite tour in a month. The Beavis and Butthead parody and the "New Mutants" themed poster are all signed and numbered, one hundred copies were made of each of them. They will be ten dollars each.
The Miles Davis parody is multi colored and is printed on some heavy stock glossy paper. Fifty of these were made and they will be on sale for twenty five dollars each.
And there will also be copies of MANCHILD 6 as well as the usual homemade posters plus original art for sale.
And yes, the Melvins will have plenty of new cool stuff as well. It will be a merchandise wet dream or something.
See you all soon..
