I didn't know they were Canadian. Not that it matters either way of course.

anaconda

To peart is to bleed as a consequence of getting an aspect of Rush wrong, or being in ignorance of a Rush fact. Named after the drummer, this verb etc etc etc.

ManWithNoName

everything about Rush is Canadian... except maybe the kimonos...

After reading this thread, I've come to the realization that I frequent far too many bars.

In all of them are digital jukeboxes, I can't remember the last time I saw one with discs in them.  Of the nine bars I can think of off the top of my head, one of them only has Houdini but the rest have:

Houdini
Stoner Witch
Stag
Senile Animal
Making Love Demos
Nude With Boots
Sugar Daddy
Eye Flys - Colossus of Destiny
Eye Flys - About a Boy soundtrack

I've never had the volume turned down on me but a bartender did skip Shevil about halfway through because he thought it was boring and dragging on too long.  I had a fit at him until he gave me my money back.  I won't be returning there.

Wow, where do you live? Melvinia?

(the) flutter nuts

yeah there is a digital one in the bar in my old town and you have to request melvins into it or something and pay twice as much to hear it and every time they unplug it it fucking resets, horse shit!!!
I got the shits real bad.

I'm as shocked as you!!  This is Pittsburgh, where people seem to have terrible taste in music and the good bands skip playing.  In the past three years I have met two people who are Melvins fans, before that...zero.  The last time they played here the place was packed, though.  I think there were a lot of out-of-towners there.
