I'm reading a Melvins interview in Fiz #10 from January/February 1994. The Melvins Army have an advert in there with a discography. One of the entries is:

V/A - An Empty Threat - cassette (Atom)

Does anyone have a copy of this I can snatch a photo of for the Wiki, please? It's a new one on me.

naw man, I have no clue, but I saw a cassette copy of PRICK last night on Ebay for a buy it now of 9.99.

It's probly SOO gone.

Bump. Found one. How long did that take? Comes in a ziplock plastic bag with a booklet and some home-made stickers. Don't know who was responsible for it, but comes out of Olympia and has a Calvin Johnson/K Records feel to it.

Photos of everything including the Melvins sticker  :shock:

No, it isn't. It's a much rawer recording with thundering drums. I'm trying to find the same version somewhere else but I haven't had much luck.

Hmm, well there's Operation Blessing on 26 Songs, sound anything like that? Maybe some early bedroom or garage recording?

Think you've got it! It could be the version on 26 songs, but before it was remastered. The sound on the compilation is much rawer.
