Flutter Nuts - I can score you a HEPA-TITUS CD at the Los Angeles show tomorrow. You have any Melvins to trade?

So Las Vegas show was great (of course). I;m born and raised in Vegas and it's always been a tough town for indy/underground bands/music. Last night wasn't a huge turn out but the crowd was pretty respectful and seemed into it.
This show was my 3rd show of this Lite Tour. I saw Madison and Chicago which were just as good of shows. That being said theres nothing better than seeing the melvins in your hometown.

I think the encore with Trevor and Shevil really is a brilliant way to end the show and it blew me away even more the 3rd time around last night.

Hepatitus ruled, Kevin looked good and had high energy. He swirled around, stomped and screamed into his bass pickup like a champ. They had a great energy similar of the cows, sometimes tight, sometimes almost sloppy but still holding a groove. Talked to Kev for a minute and he seemed happy to be playing again and was much nicer and open than when I had chatted with him 10 years ago.

Also it was Dales birthday, after hepatitus set kevin had everyone sing happy birthday then a local sideshow performer lit a cake with some kind of flaming metal rods extending from her fingers. Dale said something along the lines of "Keep the champaign flowing and the girls dancing" and then jumped off stage.
