history of drunks sounded great with the 3 piece but the highlight was when the opend with eye flys and dunn had his bow doing a crazy bass line.....i hope they do it for the regular lite shows

Yeah, I thought that seemed suspicious as I read that. A drop D song sandwiched in between standard tuning songs... That's not how the Melvins roll

Oh. The other poster must have got mixed up there i guess. Still i bet A History Of Drunks was great with a three piece.

oops. that post was late after the show, but yeah I know, track 5 bulls and bees, just got names switched in my head. (I learned them all on guitar so I know how the songs actually go front to back).

The one I didn't know was History of Drunks from A Senile Animal. That album flew past me a little right there when it came out, after the Jello records and shows. I guess I somehow took a purist stance or something because I wasn't yet sold on the idea of the Melvins-Big Business 4 piece. And I remember I was (as always) interested in hearing new 'undiluted' Melvins (a la Maggot, Stoner Witch, Houdini).  At the time I saw (a)SM as a temporary BB collaboration like Jelvins FMBB Leif Garrett etc. So it turns out the 4 piece does indeed deliver the goods.  Haven't absorbed that album yet so perhaps its up next.

I can try to see if the record player in my basement works and put the record on. I'm pretty sure it's a remix of the Lite album version. I think what it is, is that the insert lists the members of the band to make a point that the Melvins are the 4-piece, and the Lite lineup is just 2 of the 4 'real' melvins with one non-melvins guest. (albeit a special one, very depending on if you were also a Bungle fan which I was/am from before any melvins/bungle type collab)

You know what I think no one has mentioned that I've seen - all of them together would be sick, like remember when they had David Scott Stone bring him back too and someone said they might working with Kevin again also, is that true? They could call it the Melvins Bunch and put the faces in the 9 squares Buzz in the middle haha

You all are overthinking this.  It was probably the fact that an existing template was used for the label, and someone did not think to change it.
