The Melvins and Mudhoney will be playing at Jack White's Third Man Records in Nashville, Tennessee. All shows played are recorded and most are pressed to vinyl.

May 31 — The Melvins with Cy Barkley & the Way Outsiders
September 26 — Mudhoney with Cheap Time

Again,a gorgeous tragedy approaches,in the wake of those thought contained. But sonic reverberations shake the very marrow of the fragile chamber of mans lifeforce, and again the minions quiver in fear,as daylight fails to come, and Melvins walk the battlefield, bored and hungry...

I hope they do a Blue Series 7 inch while they are there.

EGO the Living Planet

Nice!

I have the Human Eye, Nobunny, Tyvek, and JEFF The Brotherhood Live At Third Man LPs. All are really nice live albums. my only bitch is that there's no mp3s included so I can rock em on my iPod at work. Will be really nice to add a MELVINS one to the collection.

Ben Blackwell, who I think is the manager @ Third Man is a big MELVINS fan. He's also one of the drummers in the Dirtbombs. One time when I saw the Dirtbombs, at the end of the set he moved his drums to the middle of the audience and started to play a solo. I immediately recognized the solo as "Spread Eagle Beagle" and of course flipped out. After the show I talked to him about it and he told me "when in doubt I always ask myself 'what would Dale do?'".

i wonder if those records will be available in quantity at third man. i'll need to take a trip downtown to 4th avenue.
