The sound inside was great. Funny how I met up with the other boardies....
We arrived late, and Melvins started playing not long after walking in. I was like.... seeeeeee ya! And took off to get a spot close to the left of the stage. I grabbed a seat and Scott and his buttcrack were chilling in front of me on the amp. He turned around, and I gave him a solid high five, and told him we had just arrived from the previous gig. Dude right next to me turns around .... and says....JUDY? I was like, uhhh... noooo. But yea, it was Grim and Flutter was right next to him.

Mike from Splatt gallery was there, too. Awesome fella! As far as the BASH goes, I was drained as all hell that day but still had a ball. Other than Melvins, of course, Negative Approach was the definite highlight and killed it like no other. No one else at that gig touched the awesome heavy rawness of the Midwestern legends!

the friday night/saturday party combo was so fulfilling - everything i'd hoped for!  everyone at Grumpys, AmRep, the guys in (the) Melvins, the Pinkus brothers, and all the melvins.net folks are just some the nicest, coolest people i've ever met.

i'm so looking forward to friday night at Smalls.
