Crover should live in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Actually every band ever introduced in it should be kicked out, and only Mr. Crover should remain into it. Then it might begin to be considered as something interesting.  :-k

Yeah, a giant museum in Cleveland Ohio dedicated to Dale, great idea....

Dale should be in along with Aaron and Chad but they'll probably just induct Cobain, Grohl and Novoselic just cos' they was on the money-making ones.

I think its up to the band. Chilli Peppers inducted everyone that was ever in the band, including the dead people.

When the Stooges were inducted they mentioned that they would have included Mike Watt and Steve Mackay but couldn't. I've also heard them say they wanted Rollins to induct them but their request was ignored.

On the other hand, I think Dio wasn't included when Sabbath was inducted because Ozzy didn't want him in. Maybe when you're Sabbath you get what you want, but when you're The Stooges you don't?

There does seem to be some odd inclusions and exclusions. the Ramones induction actually includes the original line up plus Marky. Those guys has issues and animosities all over the place but I don't think they would have excluded CJ. Maybe Richie, but not him.

Guns N Roses included Dizzy Reed and Matt Sorum but not Gilby Clarke. Metallica even included Robert Trujillo. The Beastie Boys included Ad Rock, MCA, and Mike D. I would think those guys would have given a nod to Mario C, Hurricane, and Mix Master Mike, given their tendencies toward loyalty, inclusiveness, and shouting out to friends but maybe not. Someone from Yes asked publicly if all 20past members would be included, so they at least haven't been asked who'll they'll include yet.

My guess is Nirvana's will include Kurt, Krist, Dave, Pat Smear, and Chad Channing. I doubt Jason Everman or Dan Peters will be included. I don't know about Dale. He was on the first album and played on the first demo (did he play the first show?) so he depending on how you look at it he might be counted as an original member.

Not everyone. There was a guitarist (maybe the first or one of them) who played on the first album, and was bashing the RHCP and the Hall for not inducting him.
Of course, he thought himself a core member of how the band got together.

As a betting man I don't see Dale getting inducted but I like to be proven wrong.

Besides, Krist, Dave, and Dale come up there and everyone watching , "BUT WHO THE HELL IS THAT GUY?"

Anyone ever been to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? And by that I mean anyone, anywhere, ever?

I went this year, there's a Melvins poster in there in the grunge display, the Kozik nun one.
Hail, not fail.

Ha! I went in '00 for a special John Lennon exhibit that was going on. Yoko lent a bunch of stuff, including his shattered, bloody glasses and a bag of soiled clothes from Dec 8th, which was very disturbing to see.

Most of the regular collection of lameness was in storage for the event....

I did get to touch one of his pianos.

So someone saved -- presumably in a sealed plastic bag -- the pants Lennon shat himself in as he died for like 20 years? That's pretty weird.

Well ... not Yoko-weird, I guess.

they should have Dale sing and play guitar, in place of Cobain!!!!!!!!!

So it's just Kurt, Dave, and Krist which to me rips off at least Chad but it's not a surprise. They do, however, mention The MELVINS on Nirvana's page on the hall's website.
