I think there needs to be a Melvins Documentary

It has been my dream to make a documentary about the melvins. I am a union filmmaker and I own almost all the necessary equipment. I am aware there have been attempts in the past and to my knowledge none of them has come to fruition. Does anybody know what happened to the other projects? Also I will at some point need to contact the band and ask for permission.

They exceeded their Kickstarter goal by 1000$ and were supposed to have the final edit done by September 2012.

THE COLOR OF NOISE IS FINISHED!
Two years of production, hundreds of hours of archival footage and ten months of editing, we are finished! The film is currently being submitted into various film festivals in a slightly long version this Fall, so we won't have much news about screenings until the start of the new year. We are hoping for a short theatrical run possibly in the Spring/Summer of 2014! New web site and more info coming soon-
Thanks to everyone to contributed to Kickstarter last year- because of those funds we were able to finish- !
