buzz-dale-kev was the FUCK YOU era of MELVINS.    I think my choice is obvious.

This is a really tough one! I've seen them with 5 different bassists; Mark D, Kevin, Jared, Trevor (stand-up), Pinkus. They all did a great job, and brought a lot to the table, so to speak.  I agree that Mark was the best in studio. Atlantic Era is my favorite. Kevin was really awesome live. But I think I've got to give it to Trevor, for the Melvins Lite tour. That was quite a spectacle.

I think everyone who played with them did a good job!
But if I had to choose my favourite three-piece...that´s difficult.
I´d go with Preston, Mark or Kevin.
