P!nkus is only 45!  Don't age him.

He started the finger picking long ago when he started Honky.

He started in the Butts in 86 when he was 17.

Paul is the pop song god!  If you listen to the Butts they really are very poppy overall.

I am sorry for my mistaken information, I thought I read somewhere that his birth year was 1958 but that is some wrong info.  Thank you for lettin me know!

Those albums were made in Japan.

The more I listen to Brass Cupcake the more I love, love, LOVE it!  It kind of reminds me of something off Nude With Boots, maybe Billy Fish, combined with one of the poppier Butthole Surfers songs, like Hey.

And I can't say this enough, it's awesome hearing Paul Leary screaming again!  It's about time a collaboration between two of the best bands on the planet happened!   :D  :toke:
It's such a great song!!! To me it's one of those songs where I want to start singing along the first time I heard it without even knowing the lyrics. It really is going to be probably one of my favorite songs ever. I've only listened to both tracks once and I'd rather wait to listen again until it's the whole album, but man am I excited!

Somebody start feeding these guys acid again.

Brass Cupcake-the one minute sample features the goofy part of the song, of course. Hearing the whole track, it all gets into proper context. More Buttholevins than Melsurfers.

Bride Of Crankenstein-makes sense that a hybrid of the bands would sound this much like
Steel Pole Bath Tub. I love it!

"Both those guys have such great instincts for songs – Paul brought in three really great songs, I did three or four and Pinkus did a couple. It's the first time I've not written the vast majority on an album myself."

I bet that 'You Can Make Me Wait', 'Eyes On You', 'Nine Yards', 'I Get Along' and 'Piss Pisstopherson' were some of the songs not written by Buzz.

The Golden Age of Butts. This is by far my most watched video on YouTube:

I think these guys should cross-merchandise and sell cans of creamed corn, packed in brine.

I'm too lazy to trawl through all the pages in this thread, but the samples are up on Amazon.
