Atlantic years are getting reissued on vinyl on Third Man Records.

Seriously do any of you guys remember we were talking about a Stag Vinyl Re-issue awhile ago and how the pressing suffered because of the length of the album...and I totally called it that it would be optimal for the album to be Re-pressed as a double at 45RPM? 

I cant believe I actually called that one.

Is it double 45 or 33?

Bundle showed up today. Bummed to discover the colored versions are later after opening one, but 'Houdini' sounds pretty amazing so far, so I shouldn't be too bent

It was misleading the way third man originally showed the color vinyl in the video on the sale page for the black vinyl.  Luckily for new buyers, they've recently changed the order pages to say 'The Melvins - stag/houdini/stoner (DOUBLE BLACK LP)' at the top.

Couldn't wait for the colored versions, ordered up the black vinyl bundle for my own Father's Day present to myself (ostensibly from my two year old I suppose).

I forget what you call the little messages in the grooves at the end of records, but on Stoner Witch one said Boner Bitch, and on Houdini on side 2 (or side b, whatever you want to call it) there was a message saying something like spread eagle beagle no more.

thats funny, Marks Record reviews back back back in the day...Mark Prindle refers to Stoner Witch as *boner Bitch* when comparing it to stuff like Ozma.

And I guess I was wrong about the 45RPM thing, ah well...close.
