The Crybaby liner notes
« on: July 13, 2015, 04:58:25 AM »
I had the trilogy on CD when it came out but made the mistake of selling them when the vinyl trilogy was purchased.  Beautiful picture discs but not all the songs and full songs.  Anyway, the point being is that i'm looking for the liner notes from The Crybaby specifically but would like the trilogy liner notes.  Looking for a quote about David Yow that went something like "He recorded the songs on Crybaby half-naked and half-drunk, the way he lives his life."  Does anyone know the exact quote about David Yow?  Thanks, DJ MOFO

This was actually my first Melvins album after downloading a bunch of mp3s from Napster.

Mainly bought it for the Tool collaboration, but soon delved deep into the Melvins catalogue!

anybody know what the 'asian' character means?

From the 69 year old (70 in China) Chinese guy I work with and I will just quote him:

The character is Chinese.

It is pronounced "yen"

It means to drink

"To drink water, rain, any liquid"
