Seattle was insane!!!! Steven is 100% the perfect fit for Melvins. This might be the absolute lineup. No need for any other bass players now. They have the best. Cannot wait for the Troubadour next week.

Melt Banana RULED.
Napalm Death were too loud.

I may have been too stoned, but I swear they did not play The Water Glass in full?

Hands First Flower

They did not play it in full. And fir that I also Thank them.
What a fabulous room. Are all these your guitars?

For those wondering, Walsby said that War Pussy is gone.  There is a Mike & The Melvins shirt.  There was also a tour shirt, the squirrel shirt and the swan shirt.  I picked up a bitchin new Napalm hoodie.

So yeah, awesome show

Caught half of Melt Banana.  Seen them 3 or 4 times (got to open for them once in 97/98) but it was my first time seeing them as a two piece.  It was actually really good.  Sure a lot is pre-programmed but lots of good atmosphere and Agata is always fun to watch.

Melvins topped themselves once again.  I'll echo the already expressed sentiment that Steve is perfect for them.  I love his playing style and his vocals and especially his energy.  They seemed to play a some of the songs much faster but it was in a good way.  Shane came out and did second bass on Night Goat and I almost screamed like a 14 year old at a Justin Beiber concert.  Dale ended by leading the crowd in Take Me Out To The Ballgame and then all 4 did the hand in hand bow.  Both Mike Dillard and Mike Kunka were there so I was hoping for something special but nothing.  Oh well, once again a top notch Melvins set.

Napalm were great.  Agreed with sadcorps that they were too loud and I think they need more low end in the mix but I was still happy.  They busted out some oldies that made me very happy - Lucid Fairytale, Dead, World Keeps Turning, and my favorite sing along Suffer The Children.

Was awesome hanging with Grim and I saw a bunch of other friends.  Well worth the extra cost of going up.

The bands must have left some stuff Stateside, All Napalm Death had at the Toronto show was Vinyl, possibly CD and Patches.

Melt banana only had their CD I think.
