Happy Birthday America! Here's the Houdini "art edition" for you to gander at in between your fifth PBR and your fourth hot dog, operating your phone with your left hand, because the right one has an ice pack on it from that short fused firecracker.
HAZEXXL linocut art design silk screened, based off the Frank Kozik original.

Oh, and I commented on the post they made...and this is what the colored version of the album that's in the teaser video from Third Man Records will be housed in.

...so there's that.

Hmm.

I like it.  I like the conflicting colors.

Not every note has to be in tune.

I hope to get my hands on one, I love it!  HAZE XXL!

Mr. Haze keeps getting better at what he's doing.

I absolutely love this adaptation of the cover. It's like looking at Matisse in his fauv stage. Sometimes the colors don't always agree with me but gives another reason to why I can't stop staring at it. It's so morbid and hard to look away from. It's a thing of beauty.

He's on game. Get over it  :P

I use those colors as a spiral background a lot coloring in the kid's coloring books.  That is what always made Kozik's posters so cool.

I think some of us are just getting a bit tired of the same artist doing all the artwork for all these Melvins vinyl releases.

Hehe, maybe a few here will have a revisit of Hazes banhammer. I`m the one that don`t care one millimeter for the art and comic strips that follow The Melvins. The band, Buzz and Dale + the bass player is the sole reason why I follow. I see that both Walsby and Haze know their craft, and I might buy a poster or a tee at the merch if I liked it, but other than that it`s the band I come for.

Regarding the colours on tha Houdinie Haze art edition, I can`t see the problem with them, often contrasting an unsuspecting colour choices can make it stand out.

It's sooooo garish though! I actually really liked your embroidered version of Houdini. That would have made a great cover and been 100X better than the one we got!
