8:30pm- Melvins play short set
9:15pm: The Colossus of Destiny: A Melvins Tale
Wouldn't that be better and make more sense the other way around?? Melvins playing after?

No.

I think the way it is designed is best. Movie, Music, Movie, Q&A.

Heading downtown right now!

Last night was amazing!!!!!!!

Diet Melvins is pretty sweet too. The set was stellar. The Documentary just as amazing (if not more) than the first time I saw it. The Q&A was THE BOMB!!!!! Buzz holds no punches and might be the greatest story teller / comedian to ever come out of rock and roll.

Last night left me wondering - how many more times will the Melvins re-invent themselves? I mean, they did so AGAIN right in front of our eyes with Diet Melvins. Buzz rocks the acoustic guitar so fucking hard!!!!

I am envisioning at some point "Diet Melvins Lite" with Buzz on acoustic and Trevor on Double Bass.

And then I am also dreaming of MelvinsKross (it has to happen damnit!)

And maybe someday Midi Melvins. With all midi guitars and drums.

But of course, what do I know? These guys have surprised me for almost 30 years now.

Great job Ryan and Bob. Great job!!!!

))))((((

Who's the dude far left on the photo with all the contributors doing the Q&A on stage?

That idea is stolen from Fantomas. Well, potentially it would be.

Diet Melvins
Is that what they actually termed it?

They just called it Melvins. But is official now, that it makes no difference whether it is MELVINS or THE MELVINS.
