It went up after I left so I haven't been there yet. A friend just saw Redd Kross there last week- reported good things as well as excellent sound. I'll take it over smally smalls. Plus Mexican town is fun. I have heard it has cleaned up a bit for the better....

  and yes.. the sound in El Club is spot on.   they have sound absorption panels on the ceiling so its a lot cleaner.    $5 to park right across the street.  I like the place.
