Too bad It's something I want and would appreciate more than anyone, but getting my hands on a copy will be bloody impossible, what ever shall I do?

Between the hipsters who will never know how to play them properly, or the flippers who will mark them up by a landslide premium I'm thinking my goose is cooked.

This forum, much like any other forum dedicated to one band or another always has a contingent of those fans who hate everything that isn't (Insert favorite era here).
This place is no different.
At least you don't see much of the people who don't like new material making snide comments to those who do.
Melvins be Melvins, whatcha gonna do?

Of course that type of fan exists but there is something objectively stale about the last couple of years.
Not saying it's not good, just a bit of a slump. I think a lot of listeners would be ok with them laying out for a minute and giving a record 1-2 years to marinate.
(Yes I know some songs are decades in the making and some are written in days yaddayadda I'm talking about focusing on one body of work)

Really enjoying the walk.
Death is the comfortable melvins I feel like we've been enjoying the last decade but with better vocals. Which  is nice to hear and understand full sentences out of the Kings mouth.
Love is the deep love for the weirdness that I discovered way back with Lysol and Prick. Great to hear it again.

surprised people consider this release so similar to other recent releases.i think it sounds a lot different, maybe they have lost that arena rock vibe they had with big biz , which sounded  a bit heavier but the songs structure seems more interesting and weird.probably i should listen to it more than a couple of times but so far this is my thought about the new album

I'm liking the Death album more and more. It took me about 10 listens to finally appreciate each song. Euthanasia is my favorite at this point.

The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.
