I wonder what will happen to these videos after the 7 days of availability is up. It feels like a shame to me for them to be lost to the internet ether. Im hoping someone uploads them elsewhere or the band make them viewable in some other form for archival purposes at some point. I wonder if it could be something cool to put out a Melvins TV DVD collection of all the various performances and clips that will eventually make up this series. Equally i wonder just how many volumes they will create or have in the pipeline ready for future broadcast.

I hope to hell they keep them for some future purpose. I can't imagine the guys just letting the New Years Evil show just disappear into a cloud of smoke on January 8.

I never realised that Buzz sang "vaccination" in the words to this song. I always thought it was "fascination". Probably an apt choice to open the show up with i suppose.

I wonder if he changed it on purpose to fit the pandemic theme of the event.

I didn`t watch it live, so for me it was no big deal that it was pre-recorded. Quality performance though, I can`t see why anyone should call it boring. I want the old tracks,
like Hooch, I never get tired of them and best of all, Melvins did this their way, like they always do.

I always remember perhaps a good few years ago someone was set to interview Buzz for their YouTube channel. Prior to the interview they came on here and asked if there were any questions us fans would like to ask. What i found funny was Buzzo's reaction in the video when the interviewer said he had some questions from here. A bit of a "oh Christ!" reaction. Rather humorously, i kinda suspect Buzz may find himself back in that thought during some of the questions that may be put to him during this new interview/stream event! Although im sure the questions will prove to be more interesting and insightful to us lot than most regular, rather standard Q&A's that are usually put to him. Should be fun.

just to clarify, this is not a video chat - There is a text chat function in the Veeps player where users can type in questions - Buzz will be reacting to as many of those as he can, while the NYE streams in the video player. Could end up being a running commentary on the show itself.
