Q: What was the first South American release Melvins was on?
« on: January 30, 2021, 06:38:03 AM »
A: Natasha Producoes E Discos released the Mesomorph Enduros compilation in Brazil in 1992, on license from Big Cat. This had originally been put out in the UK on Big Cat Records and was a collection of music compiled by JG Thirlwell and dedicated to the recently deceased Unsane/Boss Hog drummer, Charlie Ondras.

Wonder what the connection was between Big Cat and Brazil.

used to have that, but I guess I smoked it. I had no idea that it was dedicated to Charlie ondras, he was a rad drummer. I need to get a copy of the first unsane record
