Yeah, no shit about Pike. He WAS in Sleep afterall...

Maybe Joe decided to cut back...?

Pike still indulges. In an interview for Terrorizer in the UK he said that he smokes up whenever he's practicing...

Dog Tired

In the relapse Contamination DVD, matt pike got kicked out of the club after he played because of acting up when he was drunk.

In '96 I met Joe while he (and I) were roadies for different bands on the same tour.  He was super cool and yes maybe a little bitter about the "Melvins" thing.  I simply asked him what "those guys" were up too and he said something like, "Crack....smoking crack."  I told him there is no way the Melvins will ever write a record better than Lysol and history has proven they haven't yet ( in my opinion).  And speaking from personal experience I myself got to join a band I so loved and soon found myself ousted...or maybe i just quit?  Anywhooo, sometimes if you get tantalized by a flame the flame can pull you right in.  And when that happens well, you can get burned.  I did anyway;  can't speak for Joe.    Cheers to     J       O       E.

This is absolute grunge.

I'd like to Read those Zines if anyone has any links?

Was wondering recently about the name Salty Green, I guess there's as good an answer as I'm gonna find.

This thread is a grunge goldmine.
