Well the 50th anniversary is still some way off yet but a double album with the rumoured other 35 unreleased Melvins Lite tracks on it??

But speaking more realistically who knows. I just had to go back and check what they put out for the 40th. That crossover with Revolver reissuing Gluey, Bullhead and (A)SA. Then for the 30th i think they did the collection of Melvins CD's with the new letterpress covers. So maybe something like those - a reissue or repackaging of some already existing albums. Done all fancy like.

the bloat

A quadruple live album with 50 songs, each track recorded during every year of their existence. Limited release of 50 (on Amrep, duh)

A specially packaged concert video filmed in space so that Dale can easily play drums in an anti-gravity environment.

An entire boxed set with 50 different remixes of the 4 songs from the Shitkids collab, released on shit brown swirled colored vinyl.

A box with a projector allowing you to play a hologram version of the Melvins performing live in your livingroom!

A vault clearing rarities collection, but not actual songs. Think of like, listening to Roll Another One for 3 hours straight.

A boxed set containing 7" records made of hash so that you could smoke them if you were so inclined. (These will exist in 2033)

Bigval

Didn't they put out 'The Devil You Knew / The Devil You Know' for their 40th anniversary?

Maybe they could do what TISM did when they reunited and release a double-album of complete silence?
