the fock is a boat named after a writer who couldn't sail in that boat but finally they let him and then he drowned.

mark d stories, I don't have too many.
he told me recently that he went to CAL ARTS and studied music with JOHN FUCKING CAGE!!!
that made a lot of sense as to his song sense.

He's a bad ass guitarist. Helps us haul amps and get good sound.
He's been working on another solo album in SWEATBOX studios in Austin.
He heard our stuff in there and asked to mix some. That was awesome!!
His new stuff is great. Also, he had mixed some songs from a live recording with the EL PASO three-piece he played with in 2002(?).
Real cool.
The new stuff I have is called most likely tentatively "MONOLITH" and is still the great mark d sound--longing, slow rides through west texas metal underpinnings.
I plan to interview him in 2005, he agreed to this year but I haven't pulled it off.
