I love these performances, especially the Eggnog+Lysol disc.

I bought the MP3 set from Amrep's website back when this thing was originally released. I later picked up the pizza box LP set. But I never got my hands on the CD set.

I went to transfer my MP3s to a portable player for the car the other day and I realized my files don't play gapless. Is that the same for everyone? Or did I fuck them up somehow? Anyone with CDs able to confirm those play gaplessly? I really hate those little hiccups between songs especially on a continuous performance like this.

Pulled out my original CDs that I burned from the files way back when. Yeah, it's got flibbibips between tracks, too.

Got a friend to send me his CD rip of the Collosus/Lysol/Eggnog disc and it's seamless. So now I just need the other three CDs ripped. I'm sure it'll come eventually.

I vaguely remember when this got a Halloween bundle rerelease and I think I missed that one. I hope there will some day be another. Maybe I can be a lucky 1 of 18 that day.

How did your friend encode the cd rips? wav? Or did he encode the entire cd as one mp3? As far as I know, you can't get rid of the silence 'blips' with mp3s. Would be nice, though.

I got them all as flac now. Sounds amazing. I'm sure subconsciously this was why I rarely went back to this set before.
